Q: "How much experience do you have with children"?

A: Besides having over 20 years experience as a children's entertainers, we are parents to a 9 year old daughter and 6 year old son.

Q: "How much space do you need"?

A: The magic shows are small and self-contained, we can do it in your apartment living room or on the four star hotel's stage with a microphone. we are very flexible and only need enough room for the children to sit on the floor in front of us.

Q: "Do you need anything else"?

A: No, we bring everything, the balloons and face paints are all supplied by Children's Party Productions. You don't have to buy or think about anything extra for us (we know you are busy enough).

Q: "How far in advance should I book you, you seem like busy performers".

A: We are so grateful to be very busy, and it is hard to predict which days and times will fill. It is possible to get an event scheduled the week of the party (we have even done the day of!), but if you can, the best idea is to call Ric or Cindi as soon as you know your party day. Popular days and times are sometimes staked out up to two months in advance. Call and see, likely we can be a part of your child's party!

Q: Can you provide references, brochures, or other promotional materials?

A: You may view testimonials on this web site plus all the types of performances we have.

Q: What type of payment do you accept?

A: Cash, checks, credit cards, and money orders are all accepted.

Q: Are you a booking agency?

A: No, We are not an agency or franchise-performer owned & operated!

Q: Is a deposit required?

A: Yes, deposits and event confirmations are essential to running an outstanding business of this type.  They protect the customer as well as the entertainer.

Q: "What is your cancellation and change policy"?

A: Once we take your information and book a certain day and time for your child's party, from the phone conversation onward I will be saving that date for your child's party.  Once the party is booked the space is being held and the reservation fee is due.  Because our livelihood depends on bookings, in the event of cancellation on your part, as is standard in entertainment practice, we retain the reservation fee.

We do our best to accommodate changes, and we most often can.  There is no charge for a change, if we have space in the schedule to accommodate the new time, but if we cannot the cancellation policy applies.  Please feel free to call us if you are not yet positive what day/time would work best for your child's party and would like to check our general availability.

Q: "Are there ever any other charges"?

A: No, our prices are clear cut.  If you are calling from a place more than 30 minute drive from Manchester, CT, we will charge $15.00 or $40.00 fee to compensate for extra gas and extra time.  If your event will have more than twenty children, we may negotiate an additional fee, depending on the nature of the event and whether we will be the only performer there to entertain the entire crowd.  For very large events (35-200 children) , if you will have multiple performers or activities, our normal price will likely be just fine.

For all other typical birthday parties, if you would like the performer to stay an additional half hour beyond our regular visit for a additional $60.00.  You may schedule this in advance when you book with us, or on the actual party day, as long as the perform is still available to stay longer.  We will not stay beyond the pre-arranged booked time "on the clock," without first clearing with you that that is what you would like us to do.

Q: "I cannot afford your price, can you do better on the price"?

A: Our prices reflect our costs, and we would love to make the parties accessible to everyone if only we could! Even with our impeccably high standards for costumes & entertainers, if you call around to other agencies I am confident you will see we offer the best service for the price.

Q: "We had a disappointing experience with hiring entertainers before, can you reassure me that this year will be different"?

A: This seems like an peculiar FAQ to include, but I hear it often, understandably, from so many parents!  Birthdays are special and hard to plan, and you want dependable, convincing, entertainers who are wonderful with kids!
